How to purchase our publications

(A) If you would like to purchase the books below by credit card or check, please visit the following web-site:

Please input "Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport" into "Category".

◇Follwing is the book list for which you may pay by credit card or check:

*The Building Standard Law of Japan on CD-ROM (May 2009) (Price:¥10,000, consumption tax (¥500) will be added in case of purchase in Japan)
*The Housing Quality Assurance Act and Japan Housing Performance Indication Standards(2004) (Price:¥2,952, consumption tax (¥148) will be added in case of purchase in Japan)
*The Japanese Act concerning the Rational Use of Enargy and The Notifications on Judgment Criteria related to Building and Housing(2005) (Price:¥2,952, consumption tax (¥148) will be added in case of purchase in Japan)

(B) When purchasing other books, or if you would like to purchase a book by bank transfer, please proceed in the following way:

• (1) Purchasing process
  • 1) Please complete the Publication Purchase Form.
  • 2) We will confirm your order by e-mail within one or two business days after receipt of the form. Then an invoice will be sent by e-mail. (Depending on the number of orders, processing will take anywhere from a few days to more than a week.)
  • 3) After receiving the invoice, please remit the amount shown into the bank account indicated. The invoiced amount will include the price of the publication, postage, and bank charges. Note: we cannot accept payment by check and credit card.
  • 4)The publication will be sent on confirmation of payment into our bank account.
• (2)Postage and bank charges
  • Postage (SAL): Please contact us at the following address if you need to know the cost of postage in advance:
    Bank charges: ¥3,500
• (3)Returns
  • Because of the nature of the products, we cannot accept cancellations or returns. Please check the details carefully when placing your order. We will exchange products if the wrong item is delivered, if pages are out of order or missing, or if a product is soiled or damaged. Please contact us at the following address if any of these problems arise:

  Please click “Publication Purchase Form” below and complete it with the following information and send it to us.
  • 1) Publication information: indicate the name of the publication and the quantity desired.
  • 2)Customer information: enter information about the destination to which the product is to be sent. An asterisk denotes a required field.
  • 3) If you would like the publication to be sent freight forward via Federal Express with payment by a consignee, enter your account number in the “remarks” column.

The personal information collected shall be used only for the purpose of publication service and information service by mail or email. Please note that your personal information will never be publicly displayed nor disclosed to any third parties.
